Set on the banks of the little city of Mobile, Mobile Convention Center has been an important landmark for many years now. Using its location to its advantage, you will find this center to have large terraces overlooking the waters, the waterfront area and river walks too. The center has turned quite a few heads during its construction, not because of its location, but because of its design! It's modern and unique design adds immensely to its personality. Perfect to host any kinds of events, this is a must visit while you’re in the city.

Arthur R. Outlaw Convention Center Reviews & Ratings
Our Event was in the Ballroom West on a Saturday. It was easy to park (free) and get in/out. Restrooms were clean. Facility was clean with an information booth and area handouts. Coke machine was out of order, my guess for a long time. For $2, I received a half filled, frozen Diet Coke with dried syrup drips all over. The information booth told me it was out of order, as is the other one. I suggested they but a note on it. She radioed someone to do that. So you can bring your own drinks/snacks. I attended a Fairytale Princess Ball. There were many backpacks present for essentials. At one point i seen a duffle bag under a chair, by itself. I was nervous about that, then it was gone. There was no security or metal detectors.
Had an DIVA-FABULOUS time at the FOCUS Women's Leadership Conference. Food was great & service was too. Best part....Elizabeth Smart...SUPER AMAZING WOMAN & Keynote Speaker.
American idol auditions were held here. It was an amazing experience with such talented people
Extremely cold I think the temp could be regulated better. Our group of 3100 people and they had only one concession stand available and options were very limited. Needed more seating places. The prepared food was was at best cardboard style. The prepaid meals for lunch were way of priced. $18 for a cup of lettuce, tablespoon of cheese, soggie croutons and a 6 ounce bottle of water. I would book there if it was me.
Overcrowded for Bishop graduation, as it was expected. They could have had the food consession open to sell snacks and water at least. The event was incredibly long and many of us had small children with us. You guys can do MUCH better and actually make a KILLING in the concession stand. Think about it!
