Claimed to be one of the biologically richest regions of North America, Mobile Botanical Gardens are the crown of the city. Originally a pine forest, this land of almost 100 acres has now been converted into a stunning ecosystem. With a diverse collection of plant species, you will find the most brilliant hues of green here. With lakes, waterfalls and ponds in the gardens, adding the little blue as well as the background music that was required. With such a blend of trees and water, you’ll be surprised by the number of bird species that you will spot here. Do carry your camera, as the blooms are definitely worth a couple of clicks! While tours are conducted, you can also rent the avenues for any event or ceremony.

Mobile Botanical Gardens Reviews & Ratings
One of the things I really liked is that there were signs underneath everyone of the plants letting you know what they were. I went for the first time and was a couple weeks late as the big blooms have already passed. There was still color just not much about. It was still a cool time exploring somewhere that I have not been yet. It's a fair price of $5 which I don't mind paying. I bet if I had went two weeks ago the place would be bathed in color. Still a pleasant experience, wtoill be back, saw some pretty blooms and a black racer.
On March 21 my wife and I visited Mobile Botanical Gardens and were so glad we did. The flowers were in full bloom and really put on a show. The office staff was very friendly and helpful. It is so well worth visiting.
My favorite place since I was a small child. Thank you for not ruining it. Maybe it can stay like that years to come.
Love this little gem in Mobile. The entire area is fantastic. I sadly docked a star because as a professional in the area I've had some frustrating run ins with getting permission to pay and photograph in the gardens to the point it's not been worth mine or my clients times to try and shoot here. But for just family and plant appreciation. It's one of the best places in town. I highly recommend visiting when they do their annual plant sales.
They have worked hard to make a beautiful garden with clear markers on the plants. You knew what you were looking at. It has come a long way.
