Albinelli Reviews & Ratings

  • Can’t even describe how fantastic this food market is. Wherever you look there’s heaps of fresh fruit, veg, cheese and meat. Hardly any of the vendors speak fluent English so be prepared to test your Italian. I just fell in love with this place. You can buy bits from different stalls and eat them on a bench outside, which is exactly what we did! And it was international women’s day when we visited so a lovely lady at one of the stalls gave me a flower 😊

  • Super friendly also English speaking vendors, beautiful produce, delicious snacks and so much to see!!! Bella Donne with delightful handmade pasta, butchers and bakers. One wishes to live here, just to get to shop here every day.

  • I wish there were markets like this closer to my home! This place is a foodies toys r us! A treasure trove of so many different varieties of fruit, veg, cheese, meats, bread,’s incredible. We bought strawberries & cherries which were so fresh and nothing like the supermarket ones you get in the UK. The huge chunk of Parmesan has made it into its first risotto back home and is incredible. Definitely a highlight of our stay in Modena.

  • Probably the best market I've ever visited. Just big enough but not too big, people are kind and welcoming, there's a lot of variety.

  • Gorgeous market in a beautiful old building and nice little places for a bite to eat and a drink as well
