The Ghirlandina tower aka Torre Civica, is the Modena Cathedral’s bell tower. At 86 metres, the tower is a symbol and landmark of the city of Modena. The two marble railings at the top of the tower are the source of its name- Ghirlandina. The tower is visible from any part of the city and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Inside the tower is a Sala Della Secchia room where you will find beautiful 15th century frescoes. The Saladei Torresani hall is situated on the 5th floor of the tower and is easily one of the most beautiful rooms in the tower.

Ghirlandina Reviews & Ratings
TOUGH CLIMB OF THE TOWER, BUT YOU CAN SEE ALL OF THE CITY, AND THE FAMOUS BUCKET.
Incredible building with tons of history. The view from the tower are breathtaking.
You can see all the city
Historic place and wonderful architecture.
It worth the 3 euro to go up but nothing special. The view is not that stunning because there are windows and bars on them.
