Cava Ispica is a river valley and an archaeological site located at a distance of 65 kilometres from the town of Acate, Italy. This site used to be an ancient burial site and has many cave dwellings. Cava Ispica is 13 kilometres long and stretches between the towns of Modica and Ispica. This valley is home to prehistoric necropolis, Christian catacombs, rocky oratories, monastic hermits apart from Mediterranean shrubs.
