Sprawling over an area of 4170 square kilometres, the Entabeni Nature Reserve is a part of the Waterberg Biosphere in the Limpopo province. Meaning the “place of the mountain”, Entabeni shelters in its mountainous grasslands and woodlands a plethora of native animals such as Transvaal Lion, African Leopard, African Buffalo, African Bush Elephant, South African Cheetah, Warthog, South African Giraffe, Hippopotamus and many more –making it a perfect safari zone for wildlife lovers and photographers. The upper part of the Entabeni Nature Reserve boasts of rocky outcrops and formations and open grass fields, while the lower part is plateau land with cliffs with a height of approximately 600 meters. There are five lodges for accommodation during your safari trip namely Lakeside Lodge, Kingfisher Lodge, and Wildside Safari Camp.
