Magnetic Hill Zoo - Review

Magnetic Hill Zoo is one of the top ten zoos in Canada. Spread over sixteen acres, this zoo is home to more than four-hundred animals and birds. Around hundred of these are mostly exotic and aboriginal species. The zoo that attracts thousands of locals and tourists annually, was originally opened as a simple game farm in 1953. It was started to take care of injured animals. It was developed as the zoo after the 1980s. Today, you can see Siberian tiger, jaguar, black bear, arctic wolf, African lion along with the different species of deer as well as other birds. All the animals are well taken care of. If you think a zoo is a place only for kids, you will change your opinion after visiting Magnetic Hill Zoo.

Magnetic Hill Zoo, Moncton Reviews

  • I loved it! My little one was very fascinated with feeding the goats and she loved the only ride so much she wanted to stay on. The pony ride is $7. This was my first time to a zoo and I was in awe of the animals the actually had there. We did spend 2 hours there for sure. It's a great place for all. We would even go again!

  • Impressive for a smaller/medium zoo. Good animal exposure and well laid out for walking. Kid climber to let them burn off energy also. I would recommend a visit and then you can go to the adjacent splash park after.

  • Loved it! The animals were all so sweet and my children loved it. Only thing I would recommend to others is to bring lots of water to drink. I spent over 20 on just water for family of 4. On a hot day there isn't much shade.

  • A smaller zoo but it was big enough for my kids to enjoy. Also, they have a lion, tiger and other popular animals. But none of the big animals like elephants and rhinos. It is definitely worth a visit and the family price.

  • Definitely a place to stop, I love that there shaded areas and the places are very well-marked there are public bathrooms along the way which makes it a lot easier when you have little ones. You can rent wagon/strollers to make it easier to go through the zoo. I also love that they have hands on petting that the children can interact with Some of the animals (goats, chicken, deer) they do have feeding stations where they Supply either corn or pellets to feed the animals they do cost money to use.
