  • The first room had a broken air conditioner. Entire hallway on that floor was roughly 80 degrees (F). Front desk said they sent someone to fix a/c while we were at dinner. Came back to a still broken unit. Second room door handle was not working correctly. Could not turn it the normal direction to open after unlocking. Could not close door without activating lock with key card. Had to figure all of this out on my own. Wife says she had to avoid a roach in the bathroom in the early morning. Breakfast was barely tolerable. No fruit. Watery eggs. Usually places that offer breakfast change the menu each day, at least a little, but this was exactly the same. Some readers may prefer that. Consider this: consistency is only a virtue if you're not a screwup. You could not discount the room enough for me to come back here.

  • Ok for the price. Rooms are in disrepair and could use some repairs as shown in photos. Breakfast potatoes on our first day were from the day prior as it was slow. The following 2 days they were fresh and the breakfast was good. Again, for LA, this is one of the best deals around. If u are here, I highly recommend eating at Ozzie's diner.

  • This hotel delivers the chain's intent : a clean, affordable hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful and clearly cares about providing guests with a good experience. My room was nice and clean, the carpet floor was clean (no worries about getting your bare feet dirty), bathroom was clean and the shower was good, the air conditioner was one of those space shuttle ones that blast the place to freezing in no time, and most important, the bed was very very comfortable. As advertised, fluffy pillows, clean sheets and a great mattress. The breakfast is nothing fancy but again is as advertised; a quick nutritious start to the day. If I ever go back to LA, I will for sure choose this hotel and I have no qualms about recommending it to others.

  • If you are a commercial driver this place has a great lot for parking in the rear and the hotel itself is pretty good for a chain. Location is great and people are awesome.

  • Found this BROKEN CRACK PIPE in our room (SUNDAY). Went downstairs to complain that luckily one of my two little boys didn't find it before my wife brought it to my attention. They said they couldn't do anything until a manager was available and they weren't gonna be there until the next day(MONDAY). Tried to get a hold of the manager by phone on Sunday and Monday and finally got a hold of someone by calling them again (TUESDAY) and not from them getting back to us. So far their solution was to give us 1,000 reward points when a night stay is 12,000 points.
