These 8500 square feet full of hands on exhibits are a children’s favourite. There’s just something nice about a museum that will let your child run around, touching everything, and won’t hold her back. It’s a fantastic place to host your kid’s birthday, especially if they’ve got lots of friends coming along. Inexpensive, clean and safe, parent after parent has commented on the joys of bringing their child here. Activities tend to be educational, such as: My Hospital, mini-golf, tree-house and theatre.

Monterey County Youth Museum Reviews & Ratings

  • My kids absolutely love coming here to play. It's also a great place for birthday parties 🎉. The staff is really helpful. The craft corner and the ambulance are my kids favorite exhibits right now.

  • Such a fun and creative place for kids to just be kids! There is space for them to run. There are spaces for them to be creative. There are spaces for their minds to be wondered. We had my daughter's birthday party and it was fun for the kids and parents. The kids wiped us out! The crew was always helpful. A very nice place to have a quick party and affordable.

  • This place was a great find for us. I’ll be here for about 4 months for work and this is a 15 min walk from where we’re staying. My daughter is almost 2 and loves coming here during the day with my wife. There is lots for her to explore and she loves running around and playing with the other kids. Staff is always friendly and they keep everything clean.

  • First time visiting, and this has become a must visit for any time we're in the area. This was the most fun our kids have had during our trip, trumping even visiting the aquarium. They loved having the opportunity to run wild, play out their imagination, create, and play with other kids. My partner and I loved the entire visit, and the staff was so friendly, helpful, and were interested in the kids. An absolutely amazing activity, perfect for the cooler weather today.

  • Such a fun place to be with the kids. We even enjoyed it with them. They do crafts that they take home which was very fun to make.
