This is a company that offers fantastic tours along the coastline. It is also rated as the best possible way to explore Cinque Terre by everyone who has once tried this. The company is named after a guy named Angelo, who would also be your boat driver, your host and your guide.

He is a very humble and generous person and you will find each bit of the journey very comfortable with him. As you start your journey you will be served with some very traditional refreshments and drinks. It is a very good experience to sip on your drinks and listen to all the tales of the coastline. To top it the other staff on board is also very friendly with the guests.

  • My husband and I had a delightful evening on Angelo's Tapas Tour. The views were stunning and it was fun to see the five towns we had hiked to over the past week from a sea perspective. The captain and crew were fantastic and made sure we had drinks and snacks while on the boat and were also very knowledgeable about the region giving us a little history of the area and an answering all of our questions. The stop over in Vernazza for more tapas was delicious and we had a lovely view and got to know the other passengers. All in all a fun evening and a fantastic experience! Thank you!

  • I went two of Angelo's Boat Tours about 6 years ago in one week. It was hands down the highlight of our trip to Cinqu Terra - very personal service, great food, great time!

  • Wow, wow, wow! Great tour, tour guide Linda, Captain Alessandro and wife Brenda provided great service, on and off the boat! Great value, informative tour, pleasant ride, the stop for lunch was a pleasure, the quality of the food and the service was fantastic. The tastiest meal of my entire trip between Monaco and Cinque Terre. This is the best way to be introduced to the picturesque villages. Five villages and five stars for Angelo's Boat Tours from me!

  • Fantastic tour of Cinque Terre. Definitely recommend that you attend one while you're exploring the region. They provided boat snacks and a full meal for the entire group. The guide was very knowledgeable and open to all questions we could ask.

  • Hi Manav, I'm sorry you felt we cancelled your tour unjustifiably, but I can tell you that we are in constant communication with very reliable sources - other tour operators out on the water, as well as the actual Coast Guard! – and base our decision on whether or not our tour will be an ENJOYABLE tour. I should point out that (1) what you see from the harbor is not necessarily what is going on when you leave the bay of Monterosso. It may look calm from Monterosso, but seas can be rough when you leave the bay. (2) water taxis and boat rental by the hour are VERY different than our tours. A 10 minute water taxi from one town to the next or a 1 hour boat rental is quite different than a 5 hour boat tour. Water taxis and rentals by the hour are just getting from point A to point B. Our tours are about cruising the coast at a slower pace and enjoying the scenery….Choppy seas do not make for an enjoyable cruise along the coast. And lastly, (3) I don’t doubt you saw other tour operators out with choppy seas. Its money in their pocket. Of course. We want our guests to have an enjoyable experience. Our decision is based on this – not money. That being said, though, i do want to address a couple of things. 1. Regarding being notified only one hour before – this was not the case. All guests are told to check in the day before their tour, precisely for this reason. I see that your group did not check in the day before, instead sent an email at 9:00 am the day of the tour. If you checked in the day before, you would've been notified of the possibility of your tour being cancelled (our tours were cancelled for 8 days in a row due to inclement weather and/or rough seas, SO we were carefully and constantly watching the forecast). If there was a chance of your tour being cancelled, you would've been notified when you checked in the day before. 2. Secondly, in our "When and Where" email to you, sent when we received your deposit, you would've read that "If we have to cancel for any reason , we will send an email between 3:30-4:00." Therefore, you were aware of the time frame an email would be sent out. I sent an email out at 12:53 letting your group know of the very good possibility that we would have to cancel, and again an email at 15:03 cancelling the tour. 3. In regards to your comment about us "not wanting to do the tour." You should know that it is not in our best interest to cancel tours. We operate only 6 months out of the year, so I can tell you that we DO NOT cancel unless we feel we have to – we are losing money when we do. We have reliable sources that we use to determine whether or not we will need to cancel. And we don’t take the decision lightly. Again, I’m sorry you were disappointed, but we stand behind our decisions. -Angelo's Boat Tours
