Farrington Hall was built in 1908 by William F Aldrich. Previously he had built Rajah Lodge Home and gardens. He was a congressman and a coal mine owner. The primary purpose of this hall was to serve as his personal office, recreational area and library. These days the hall has become a tourist attraction, as it showcases the fine architecture of the early 20th century. Italian artist Monetta hand painted murals depicting the realistic situations in a man’s life, which adorn the walls of the main hall.
