  • Great park, good hicking.. the trails were easy to do and you must climb to the top of the tower in youth challenge trail.

  • We spent a long time trying to decide between Monteverde and Santa Elena cloud forest. We eventually chose this as it was less touristy and so we had a higher chance of seeing animals. There are no hanging bridges in this park but the paths are much more natural and you feel submerged in nature. We saw very few other people and 2 sloths within our first 15 minutes being in the park. As it is slightly lower than Monteverde it was slightly warmer which I really appreciated!

  • Clearly marked trails, friendly staff and can do guided or on your own. If you have gum/ Wellingtons boots will serve you better, though normal trainers are fine too.

  • Beautiful experience with or without a guide. The guides will be abke to point out more animals in the distant trees but it is equally a lovely experience to just be one with the nature around you. Dress for muddy terrain

  • Great guided hike reserve was amazing. Do not eat from kitchen made my gf very sick
