  • Amazing hiking experience in a lush rain forest. Bring a rain coat, since it's extremely humid. They have a multitude of trails, varying from 1 to 5 km, so you can pick and choose and combine, depending on how much time you want to spend here. Also, you can either simply hike or get a guided tour. Unforgettable experience.

  • I passed the whole day here and let me tell you, it was worth every dollar spent for the entrance fee. There are different trails for you to do, depending on the time you want to pass there and your physical condition. Some trails looked more like a side walk and others more natural and mudy. If you want to see many different plants and have a nice walk in the forest it is your place. I was really enchanted by this park. I strongly recommend it.

  • Such a beautiful place! Cheaper than the other cloud forests in the Monteverde area, but still plenty of trails to wander around on. I would highly recommend a stop here in you like nature, hiking, etc.

  • Do a guided tour! It was absolutely amazing what the guide could show and tell us for a reasonable price (~15 USD for almost 3 hours, 1 cup of coffee included). We even saw Quetzals although mating season was over and they were hard to spot! After the guided tour and the coffee we walked on our own through the misty and breathtaking forests on the well marked trails. I would absolutely come back!

  • Went for 7:30am guided walk with a group of 8 tourists. We saw hummingbirds, black guan, tarantula. The forest is beautiful. The trails were not crowded, except around the lookout tower. After the guided walk, we explored one of the other trails on our own. The guide was good at spotting birds and very knowledgeable, but the level of explanation was sometimes a little basic for natural history enthusiasts like us.
