A 40-acre zoological facility, the Montgomery Zoo houses over 750 animals belonging to over 140 varying species. With exhibits from five continents, the zoo houses many animals, some of which include red kangaroos and black swan from Australia, Axis deer and Bengal tiger from Asia, ostrich and Egyptian goose from Africa, maned wolf and wood duck from South America, and bison and white-tailed deer from North America. The place is accompanied by the Mann Wildlife Learning Museum where visitors can touch the furs of animals on display. A daily lion talk and elephant talk hosted by the keepers are interesting experiences to have when you are at the zoo.
