  • My go to spot when I need to take some time for myself. The service is always excellent. I appreciate the no cellphone policy and how they reinforce staying silent in certain areas. The spa is also in such a beautiful part of the city. You must bring a bathing suit and flip flops and I recommend bringing a water bottle. I cannot say enough positive things about this place, truly magical!

  • Was a decadent experience, wandering around all day between the saunas, pools, restaurants, etc. in a fluffy white robe. The massage was not bad, food was good. Some of the staff take themselves a bit too seriously; when people would speak, even quietly, they’d be shushed. Overall a fun time.

  • A great water circuit! I haven’t had a massage here so I can’t comment on the services but the circuit and the relaxing rooms are awesome! The whole concept is beautiful with incredible views of Montreal from the top deck to the leisure pool. The spa is super clean and well planned. I will always come back here because the water stations of the circuit are perfectly tempered. Sometimes the cold showers at other Scandinavian spas are so cold that my muscles cramp instantly and I can’t enjoy the rest. Bota Bota really strikes the perfect balance throughout the circuit and I feel more rested and “well” when I leave than I do at other spas - which makes it a great value also! Service was fine. They observe a very strict silence policy throughout the spa, everywhere except for the “leisure pool”. You could be shushed by staff when you’re not actually speaking !! They’re just doing their job but I find it to be disruptive and non-sensical at times.

  • Has a variety of well-constructed sauna, steam room, and pool services, all with a good view of the river and city. You should bring your own water-appropriate footwear or be prepared to buy some. I am not giving a 5-star review because the famous silence policy was not enforced during my stay. Patrons were chatting in all of the open relaxation areas, and a staff member also decided to have a long cellphone conversation in one of the quiet areas. Once I readjusted my expectations, I had a better time, but I was still disappointed in that respect.

  • Amazing day spa - the pool was refreshing and they used aromatic essential oils in the sauna and steam room. Plenty of places to lounge and hang out. My only comment is that in summer there was not enough cold water plunge baths and there was a line but this shouldn’t be a problem in winter or cooler days when the ambient pool temp is cold.
