Caffè Italia, Montreal Reviews
We were here for a morning coffee. Very busy but snagged seats at the counter. We enjoyed toast with provolone cheese. Very simple but tasty. Enjoyable environment - lots of regulars.
The coffee is great, seriously is the best taste, the place is good and also the service is nice, those guys are really nice people. My 4 stars is because you can feel a little lost when you get in, nobody say hello and nobody tells you how is the process for being served and they don't have waitresses so you have to go to the bar ask for you coffee and stuffs and find a table or chair, it's confusing honestly more because most of the time is at full and no one hears you. Out of that is a good coffee place
Love this place. Is a piece of old time, Italy, culture, great consistent flavors. Please don't miss this place when in the area. One of the best Montreal kept secrets. Did I say we love it?!! Nothing fancy but I wouldn't change it for any other coffee place on the island.
The cafe latte is exactly how I like it: the coffee flavour is stronger than the milk. The food is OK, sandwiches and croissants. A great neighborhood place that reminds me of Italy. No frills. Simple and good.
This is a classic Montreal café. Probably the best coffee in town. This café has been there forever. It's an institution. It doesn't follow fashion. It's the real thing!
