Icehouse, Montreal Reviews
I love this place! Super chill vibes, excellent patio for the summer. Their pitchers of bourbon lemonade are absolutely fabulous! I used to be obsessed with their shrimp tacos (they no longer have them) - but all there food is good. Definition of yummy comfort food for a good price!
Favorite spot from my visit to Montreal. Tex Mex joint with outdoor seating and fried Chicken and ribs dumped right onto the table. Also incredible lobster roll. Not to many seats, there was a line as we were eating outside.
Great fried chicken - crispy and satisfying. Restaurant has a casual concept - you eat without plates. Service was saucy and amusing. Bourbon lemonade cocktail was pretty killer. Fish tacos were tasty. Try the spicy honey sauce - so good. Great place to share a meal.
I go there often with family as well as work colleagues. I would describe the food as "fast gourmet" Tex/Mex. I've tried just about everything on the menu and nothing has disappointed so far. Their fried chicken is second-to-none, same goes for their wings. And ribs. The fun part is when they lay down the paper table cover and our the chicken and ribs onto the table, great fun. That tall waiter that someone else described as rude, is, IMHO, top notch - always patient and willing to explain the menu.
Great spot for drinks and lunch!! Food was delicious (oyster po'boy and fried chicken tacos) and really great quality! Definitely going back, no complaints, two thumbs up.
