  • Probably the best venue in Montreal for sub-stadium acts. A big room, with a good, high, stage. Excellent sound quality and a good distribution of bars through the room. The Coat check system used is much more efficient than I've seen in similarly sized venues. Drink prices are average, and the bathrooms can be a pain at times.

  • Thank you to the security at Metropolis who got seats for my parents who can't stand for long periods of time. They love live music and it's so nice that you were able to accommodate them at the Whitehorse show last night. Security went above and beyond to provide an excellent experience and it is much appreciated!

  • Decent performance venue, speakers have deep base to resonate the entire hall and make a really nice rumble. Balcony seats and a general mosh pit arena/dance floor. When packed it gets ridiculously hot.

  • Went to the nasty show and my friend was thrown out for heckling like. It is after all the nasty show and in my opinion heckling is part of stand up comedy. Those who had seats were also heckling but not getting kicked out. We paid the same amount for our tickets as everyone else and spent close to $400 at the bar. The security guard was horrible and made us feel like criminals. He was the one who was of african decent. He deserves to be thrown out and they should hire professionals. I will never go back to this venue and the fact that we didn't have seats means they also overbooked so we were in the back standing. This experience showed me that if you have a seat in Metropolis you are basically given more respect even though we all paid the same price. The place is a dump and we had to accomadate over 30 times for people going to the bathroom and security guards making rounds so I probably saw half of the show. Club soda is way better!
