Mystery Room Montreal, Montreal Reviews - Write a Review
We have done so many escape the room games and this one stands near the top. There is a creative scenario and a wide variety of non repetitive puzzles. One puzzle threw us off due to bad wording, but otherwise a very fun room. We returned for the second room and it was just as fun, well worth a try.
We tried their tomb explorer room. The puzzles were good and made use of lots of electronic gadgets. A nice place to try.
This was a great experience for two teen boys and their mom! The staff was very friendly, the game creative and encouraging you to think "outside the box". Clean rooms. Thanks for a fun time!
I really enjoyed my experience. The place was really nice, very friendly staff and creative puzzles to solve. I think my only observation is when asking for advice the receptionist was on the phone and we had to wait thus waiting precious seconds of our time being stuck. Said that, we were really bad at solving some riddles so if you are a person that doesn't need help then is perfect!
Overall, my group and I enjoyed ourselves at this Escape Room. The employees were friendly and accommodated us very well in English and French. The waiting lounge is pleasant with games available to pass the time. We did the Assassin's Code room, and while we enjoyed the narrative, we found that the process of solving clues was a little too linear, such that almost all group members were focused on the same thing at all times. Splitting up to solve multiple puzzles more quickly was practically impossible because there weren't enough puzzles running in parallel. This feature, however, would make the room excellent for a group of 2-3 people. I would definitely return to try other rooms, so overall I would definitely recommend Chambres aux Mystères. Bonne chance!
