  • Gorgeous venue with superb acoustics. Unique Canadian hardwood design creates a warm ambiance, and all the curves make for sexy eye candy. From Handel's Messiah to Chilly Gonzales pyrotechnic keyboard stylings, this is the ideal for musical events. Coat check, bar, and reasonable interior parking are some of the offerings for patrons. A credit to Montreal's vibrant cultural community.

  • A very happening place packed with activities when I visited Montreal in August. The place was pretty crowded maybe because of the huge number of restaurants and bars lined up here. I hugely enjoyed watching the fashion shows that were being held for almost a week. Since it's in downtown Montreal it's very close to good malls and a couple of metro stations.

  • We saw an open air concert by a French Canadian artiste here. No idea who it was but the atmosphere was excellent. A lively crowd made for a fabulous night. Smashing.

  • Great outdoor area in Montreal where many festivals. And events are held over the summertime. There are also big water fountains which are great for cooling down kids on super hot days. There is also a metro station which brings you right to it with many different entrances. And lots of places for bicycle parking. Could add more bixing sites.

  • Great place to get a taste of Montreal's lively culture or just enjoy a coffee while you study at one of the square's many cozy coffee places. Make sure to check the Anticafe Place des arts which has one of the best view on the square. During the summer this spot will be buzzing with cultural activities and during the winter there often are urban fire places to cozy up during those cold winter days.
