If you wish to witness the farming life from the 1900s, then visit Sukanen Ship Pioneer Village and Museum. The museum is sheltered in a ship named Dontiainen which has exhibits showcasing the early prairie life. The museum is vast and includes historic buildings such as the first home of Prime Minister John Diefenbaker, a general store, a school, and Diefenbaker Homestead. You can also view a 100-year-old elevator, an antique auto, an old tractor, and a railway station along with the living quarters. An interesting museum with many artifacts, this place will easily occupy your couple of hours. Visit it when you are in the neighborhood.
