Moravská Třebová (Czech pronunciation: [ˈmorafskaː ˈtr̝̊ɛbovaː]; German: Mährisch Trübau) is a town in the Svitavy District and lies in the Pardubice Region, Czech Republic. It has around 11,300 inhabitants. Moravská Třebová is located on the Třebůvka River. It was the largest German linguistic enclave within Bohemia and Moravia. Some locations were just some kilometers apart from the other German-speaking areas. Until the expulsion of the Germans in 1945/46 according to the Beneš decrees, it was exclusively inhabited by German-speaking population. Between 1850 and 1960 Moravská Třebová has been a district town.
