Mornington Pier, Mornington Reviews
Nice views of the bay and of Mornington beaches. Pricey but good seafood restaurant, as well as a cafe. Enough parking. Close to a good park for families. Within walking distance from Main Street. You can fish from the pier. Occasionally there are some big yachts, but normally just small craft. Worth it for the view from Schnapper Point.
Beautiful views. Places to eat both Cafe and restaurant. Also picnic tables and numerous bins around so please keep it clean. Lots of walking to be had and a great BBQ / park area up the road.
A favorite ride destination for my husband and I when the sun is out. The pier has been rebuilt but sad to see it so much smaller than it used to be, its lost alittle of it character. Beautiful walking paths to view the scenery.
A very scenic and historic location. Great views of Port Phillip Bay and the local coastline. Very popular with locals, tourists, fishing enthusiasts and scuba divers. The pier renovations have taken a long time and well over 15 million $$$ The pier is now even bigger. Same length as pre-renovation but much wider and also with a lower boarding area. In July and October 2016 storms really tested the pier and the wave protection panels failed. Still yet to be repaired but pier is safe and open to public. Used to be a fantastic pier dive pre-renovation not sure how good it is now.
Great spot. Parking can be difficult. Nice small cafe towards the pier or the pricier Rocks which has great views. Home of the Mornington Yacht Club.
