Bull Point Lighthouse is a lighthouse which was established in 1879. In 1960 an electrified fog horn was added to it and in 1995 it was automated. It occupies an area of 1.6 km to the northern side of the Mortehoe village. The prime aim of the lighthouse is to supply visual aid to the people of the village. This 11 meters tall lighthouse has 800,000 candelas light intensity which can be visible from a distance of 44 kilometers. You can even visit the site by walking through the adjacent footpath. Recently, the cottages of the Bull Point Lighthouse started giving accommodation with the self-catered facility to the visitors.
