  • This place has some spectacular views of the local area. Make sure that you are in decent shape; it's a steep hill up to the tower and not for folks of old age or very young children (my six year old complained the whole time...and so did my ten year old).

  • Centenary tower has amazing 360 degree views of Mt Gambier and surrounding districts. There is a car park at the bottom of the tower that looks over valley lake. There is all the information of the history of the tower and how it came to be erected where it is. The walk however is about 300 metres from the tower and is very steep to walk. If you are unfit or have a pram you might struggle. In saying that, the pathway is sealed and really wasn't any trouble to get up to the tower. Definitely worth the walk for the few though.

  • Great 360 degree views once the uphill path is conquered

  • Shirt steep climb, but well worth it for a fantastic view of the valley.

  • 1km of fun with the grandkids
