Centenary Tower, Mount Gambier Reviews

  • This has been a regular place I have visited when training. A great area for those wanting a good workout. Fantastic views of the crater lakes area and the surrounding countryside. For a longer run you can include a run down into the Valley Lake and Leg of Mutton Lake and a lap around the Blue Lake. 10 plus kilometers in all.

  • Fantastic view of the valley lake and Mt Gambier. Definitely recommended to make the hike up the short 200m trail to visit this tower. The tower is only open for entrance when the flag is flying.

  • Only 4 Stars due to the climb upto the tower which was incredibly steep. Otherwise a great location you can see the Crater Lakes as well as most of Mount Gambier. The person who lets you in the tower was extremely helpful and prices were great. For a family of four we paid $8 If your fit this is definitely a place to check out on the Limestone Coast

  • This place has some spectacular views of the local area. Make sure that you are in decent shape; it's a steep hill up to the tower and not for folks of old age or very young children (my six year old complained the whole time...and so did my ten year old).

  • Great view over the town. Steep steady walk up to the tower
