  • Great little museum. Well curated and cheap. Certainly worth stopping in.

  • Excellent museum for the local driftless area. Pretty good spot for a scoop of ice cream as well. Very reasonable prices.

  • We attended an amazing reception of the two editors of "The Driftless Reader" at this wonderful "Historium". Very comfortable, educational and fun.

  • Very nice small town Museum, recently reopened and expanded. Includes a virtual reality tour of the now shuttered tourist destination, Little Norway, as well as a research library and multiple exhibit spaces. Though the space is small the curatorial work is of the highest professional caliber. Just outside the museum and just off of the Military Ridge trail there is a thoughtful little bike repair station with water fountains for human and canine and a selection of bike repair tools on cables to change a tire or replace a dropped chain.

  • Recently renovated and expanded. Huge gift shop serving ice cream made by UWP Ag students.
