Palm Island Park Reviews & Ratings
Beautiful area. We had a great visit and will return very soon. We were going to the west coast of Florida for the day and stopped in Mt Dora to check it out...we spent so much time there that we changed our plans. There were lots of boaters in and out of the lake. There were many families everywhere. Wildlife of all kinds appeared everywhere we looked. This is truly a wonderful place to visit. The nature walk is great and we were not disappointed...dragonflies, gar, butterflies, great egrets, blue egrets, grackles, turtles, gators, opspreys, crows, ibises just to name a few. Check it out. You won't be disappointed.
Been going here since I was a kid and has always been a nice slice of nature. Love the pokemon painted in different spots
Nice walking path with great views. We spotted a few alligators in their natural habitat which was really neat! Watch out for wolf spiders here- I did get a bite but it didn't do much other than itch and some minor localized pain.
Great park right by the water with plenty of well maintained trails
Super hot and humid today, but our class still enjoyed the nature walk. And the new playground is state of the art.
