  • I usually make a point of stopping here when traveling between Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai. Peaceful, open space design situated on the riverbank. Always a great and tasty selection of homemade pies and cheesecakes, many are of the exotic local Thai fruit. Nice friendly warm wood atmosphere.

  • Beautiful resturant on river. Great stop on 118 road. Fab cakes. Awesome

  • Great hide away cafe along highway 118 between Chiang Rai & Mae Suae. Famous for their pie and cake. Great stop over for Chiang Mai Chiang Rai journey.

  • Good service, great food, reasonably priced. The desserts are epic! We stop every time we make the drive from Chiang Rai to Chiang Mai. Always glad that we did!! :)

  • We seldom miss stopping here when we travel to Chiang Mai from our home in Chiang Rai province. The desserts are amazing. Only bad thing about them is the calories. The food items we have had are okay, but they seemed to be toned down for Western palates and aren't as spicy as we would prefer. The restaurant is situated on the banks of the Lao River. There are some beautiful gardens and something blooming at most times of the year. There are a couple of small aviaries with exotic birds. A bamboo bottomed bridge crosses the river to get to the cabins on the other side.
