Khun Korn Waterfall, Chiang Rai Reviews
At 200 feet in height, Khun Korn waterfall is a must-see if you find yourself in Chiang Rai. The roads were well paved for a scooter and there was a mile hike to the waterfall that gets you hot enough to get in! For the adventurous, it was a sandy bottom all the way with a ledge behind the falls!
This should be no.1 attraction in Chiang Rai. I rented scooter to get here and when I left I had pleasure eating with locals by the river bars. Fabulous! Open till 16:30.
Nice drive up to the national park. Free entrance. 1,4km easy hike, may be a bit muddy but still suitable even for kids. Beautiful scenery, I even prefered the jungle than the waterfall itself. Totally worth the hike.
1.4km trekking trail with nice bamboo scenary which leads to a majestic waterfalls at heights over 70 meters. The road to Khun Kon Waterfalls is perfect for motorbiking. Note: There is a signboard at the entrance saying that all visitors must leave at 4.30pm (updated by 30 Dec 2017)
Good! So good to be there. Nice and easy journey for everyone! Nice and beautiful. Be aware about mosquitos! Morning time is quiet without people!
