Café Leopold is a representation of hope and survival in the city of Mumbai. Apart from being one of the oldest Irani restaurants this place is also one of the places that were attacked on the night of 26/11 in Mumbai. The owner has kept a lot of interior as it is and has restored a major part of it. Situated on Colaba causeway, this humble looking place has an amazing atmosphere. You should visit with friends to grab a beer or two and it is one of the best options to spend a lovely evening drinking and eating your night away!
- Visit Colaba Causeway for sure!
- Try the lovely irani dishes.
- Have a beer with your friends, the place is knows for beers!
- You can check an elaborate menu on their official website. Costs approximately 500-900 for 2 people.
- Get down at Marine Lines or take a cab to Colaba Causeway.

Very good bar & cafe. Welcoming staff,Good food and quality drinks. Always preserved with memories of 26/11. Always recommended for a meet up and drinking place for friends. Service was bit slow although. Can improve. Great ambience with all the vintage classic movie posters. They also sell souvenirs like mugs and tees. Always a good buy. :)
Leopold Cafe is a lively place to be at evenings. Good food and ample choice in liquor as well. Staff is well mannered, courteous and service is very quick.... Good place to have a casual dinner over drinks with colleagues. Wouldn't recommend it for a family
The food here was nice and there was a great atmosphere, the pictures and decoration was very appealing too. I did however prefer eating in cafes where the locals eat to absorb the culture, they also tend to be a lot cheaper.A bit crowded. The patrons are mainly Europeans and foreigners. The food is just excellent. Waiting time is minimum, perhaps to clear the crowd and to accommodate the waiting people.
It's surrounded by street market and the ambience inside is so good... Decor and memory of 26/11 is well presented... Staff is friendly and welcoming loved how they treated us.... And food is also amazing just loved the place and it's refreshing coffee...
Pasta we ordered was excellent. It was chock-full of people with tables placed right next to each other but its worth it if you don't mind the crowd and all the noise. Service prompt despite all the rush. Menu has several western and Indian options you can choose from. Pricing is a bit on the top though... You can sit on the first floor if you want less of crowd and noise.
