Crawford Market is a famous landmark of Mumbai. Long back it was a fruit and vegetable market but now hardly a few vendors are remaining. Now most of the shops are selling Dry Fruits, Grocery, Milk Products, Chicken, Sweets, disposable stuff, and make up materials. Take care when purchasing branded beauty products as most of them are Duplicate. And foreign tourist visiting this place please buy all your spices and other stuff from big fixed price stores, or ask a local shopkeeper for help do not go or entertain guides as they will try to loot you. Hope this was helpful.
Have been here many a time from childhood. The products are genuine but the pricing are different in different stores. You have to roam and find for the lowest price. Dry fruits and foreign chocolates are more sold here. A Must visit market if you visit Mumbai. Simply irresistable!
