Leopold Cage has excellent food with crammed seating and poor service. You will have to wait a long time for the waiter to take your order and again later during billing because of the rush. I had to ask for cutlery twice, for water twice, and for my bill twice. They should ensure that the table is clean and the cutlery is replenished in the stand on each table for every new guest. They should also provide drinking water by default instead of serving water only if requested. The table was messy with the previous occupants' beer and straws still on the table. The restroom was messy as well. On the positive side, they were allowing passersby who asked to use the restroom instead of limiting it only to patrons. Also, their card machine seemed to be strangely not working.
Decent food. Good for tourists. Price was a bit high for India. I prefer local venues though. But Leopold is a must do in Mumbai. Service is good. If you're on a budget I would avoid it, but if you've got AU$20 to spare for 2 sandwiches and 2 juices, then go for it.
Very lively. Awesome location. Not too hard in pocket. Great variety of food and drinks. Ambience is nice, not best though. Overall a good hangout place with friends to just chill.
Decent place, historic, popular with foreign tourists, great food. You may have to wait a while to sit in the AC section on the first floor. But the ground floor is more happening!
Takes ages for them to serve water when you occupy a table.. Good luck ordering coffee.. A nescafe pouch of 2 Rs, hot milk and sugar cubes are served in the name of coffee.. why should I pay if I have to make the coffee by my own ! Does not accept debit or credit cards. When prices are high, do you expect people to carry cash ?? The Garlic bread was wonderful.. giving 2 stars just for that
