Nehru Science Center - Review
Other than the Planetarium which is an attraction in itself, the Nehru Science centre has a culture wing, an art gallery and various exhibitions that are held here. The whole place is a memorial to the Indian leader, Jawaharlal Nehru. Instead of a statue or a plaque homage has been paid to him through this lively science centre.
The discovery of India section is especially of interest. It has a lot of exhibits on the evolution of the country. There are around 50,000 different things to see so be sure you plan accordingly. They also host wonderful science workshops so if you happen to be there during one, be sure to find out about it. The place is something that adults and children will feel enriched after visiting. It is a major source of inspiration to everybody whose interested in becoming a science in the future and has a lot to offer to you in terms of lessons, awareness. It makes science really interesting and people would love to visit over and over again for the kind of displays at this place.

Nehru Science Center, Mumbai Reviews
It's great place to visit for all agree groups. Educational for small & curious children mind. Science Odyssey's special arrangement is so nice. Garden too has so many common but important things to learn. Have 3d shows as well. Have different segment wise small museums also. U have to visit by 9:30 to 10 am to cover entire centre. Though most of the things are not in working condition, still u can enjoy & learn.
NSC is the largest interactive science centre in India. The park area has lovely archaic models of a railway engine, a tram car, an aircraft and other fascinating artefacts. The main building contains many attractive and interactive exhibits based on scientific principles. Every floor/section has a different theme; for example, there are sections like "Sound and Hearing", "Light and Sight", "Climate Change", "Prehistoric Life", "Mirrors", etc. There are also 3D shows and science shows playing at certain intervals of time. NSC provides a great platform to showcase concepts of science to kids through practical applications. The Energy Model is the most popular exhibit at the science museum. This mini roller coaster that takes a ball for a thrilling ride: down slopes, in concentric circles and on a ride on roller skates showcases how energy is converted from one form to another. They showed documentary on navy in the Science Odyssey dome theatre. Overall, it's a enjoyable place to spend a few hours with kids and also to acquaint them with science in a fun way.
I had first Visited this place during my primary school days , was way better then . Now it's more of a boring power point presentation which the kids have to go through instead of an interactive projects which involved group activities. Good for kids who just like to press keys for no reason and see lights blinking and informative texts appearing with sound. Hardly 2-3 things were interesting, anyways it's for kids and they'll be entertained for 2 hours just in the hope to see something amazing that they might have seen on your smartphones if they were smart enough.
The evolution of social media is an amazing study to do. The growth has been outstanding. I must add here that they maintained the whole thing very well. It's a pleasure to be walking in and around the building with so much of information and knowledge it's a blessing to have your children soak in all the benefits of science and technology.
Best place in Mumbai to learn science through fun. It's a must visit place for school students and those who are curious about science and technology. Open on all days. They have a good cafeteria, and lot of open space to spend a full day fruitfully. They also have special science shows at regular intervals and Innovation Hub to make one's creative projects come true.
