Sanjay Gandhi National Park, Mumbai Reviews

  • This place is amazing. Though I can't say I've seen anything other than normal crows and a couple of goats here and there. If you're lucky you might be able to find a snake wriggling around your leg or a monkey trying to grab your phone. The other famous thing is Kanheri Caves. Well, it's beautiful! Truly scenic beauty and the best time to visit is during the rains because of the greenery that you can spot on the way and the view from top is exhilarating. It will always go down in the list of one time visits but a must visit

  • An awesome place for nature and photography lovers. Photography lovers please go with an empty memory card. The place is huge, having cycling, Tiger Safari, boating, mini train and lot more. Typically you can spend half day at here. The park is full of trees, gardens lake. Good for couple outing and day trip for Children. Located at walking distance from the Borivali station. It is most quiet place away from the hustle bustle of the busiest city of India.

  • I suggest you to not go there. There is nothing to see. The tiger safari is very worst. There are animal means four tiger only inside the zoo with cage and u just around with the bus for 20 minutes. Totally time wasting. Go for other places. Also the caneri cave is not good. There is nothing to see man . So don't go there. Time wasting, money wasting

  • 1st thing, nothing here to watch. If you are planning to go here, just take your vehicle, if you have. Safari cost 70rs, this is just a waste. They will show one lion, one lioness and one tiger that also 20 meters away in a cage. 2nd thing, at gate, cab persons will say that they will show some museum, 😂😂, nothing is there. And only thing to visit is the caves. That is good for visit and photos. So, Please visit with your own vehicle and save money. And 3rd thing, entry is cost 58 per person, which is too high and worthless.

  • This botanical and zoological park is a nice place for an outing with children. continue ..... The botanical park have rare species of plants and trees. The zoological park houses local variants of animals and reptiles. Enough amusement facilities including toy train, pedal boats etc are provided in the park for children. The park also provides good ambience for elders to meet and chit-chat. The Kanheri caves situated about 3 KM inside the park is an abandoned Buddhist monastery and a place to visit for history enthusiasts. The remnants of the caves is still in good condition and reminds us that the Buddhism was the most followed religion of India once upon a time. There are about eighty plus cottage like spaces carved into the monolithic solid rock which were used as living quarters by the monks and also for learning and teaching Buddhism.
