Sanjay Gandhi National Park, Mumbai Reviews
A very nice place. Good for any age group. Perfect place for a morning walk. You can cycle out the whole place. A perfect place for cycling. Even go for safaris. Local vendors sell fruits inside. Deer can be spotted moving freely on the roads. There is boating available too. A number of other things like toy train ride, kids park is also available. The villagers inside the park are also helping in nature. There are very good spots for photography too. People can come for picnics too. Altogether a very nice place for every age group.
Sanjay Gandhi national park is one of the best spots we have in Mumbai. It is a national park hence the land is massive but not used to it's full potential. Plenty of activities can be done at this place. Those activities that the National Park conducts are not advertised well. It is a perfect place for fitness enthusiasts, cyclists, adventure enthusiasts, and those who simply love the serenity that nature has to offer. Avoid going in the afternoon or evening as it is crowded with college kids or couples. The morning hours are great for photography or jogging or cycling. The cycling service is really good. Very helpful. Also cycles are in good condition, unless you are really unlucky. Other activities include the tiger and lion Safari and deer spotting. If you have plenty of time and nothing to do on a certain day, wildly explore the beauty of this place.
Good place to go for a day trek But be sure to go early morning weekends are crowded. Try some weekday if possible. Contact the national park authorities they leg you know the more fun stuff they have I had gone there for a jog and morning cycling experience I got to have a first hand experience of a deer with a cub with him /her during my visit there
Nice place for all age groups. Calm, serein and beautiful nature. Can be developed much more beautifully by availing open jeep safaris which will attract much more tourists and can be perfectly enjoyed as a jungle safari. There are cycles available on rent. One can go cycling in the Park. Also there is a boating facility inside the Park. Overall its a good place. A once Do Visit place.
Ana amazing place to relax and take in fresh air.. surround yourself with the trees and flowers and silence in the midst of this ever growing concrete jungle. Ok next can take a cycle on hire(hourly basis) and cycle through the national park. One is interested in animals... Can opt for lion and Tiger Safari for a nominal charge.
