Sanjay Gandhi National Park, Mumbai Reviews

  • If planning to rent the bicycle from the counter inside, then be at the entry gate at 7:30am sharp! Especially on Sundays. Cycles get rented fast and are few. Else come at 11am-12pm, then many will be available but will be sunny. Best option is to get own bicycle. Also be careful while cycling inside when buses approach since the road is narrow and they often drive rashly. It is safe but wait on the side when buses approach. Carry water and cap. Avoid using plastic.

  • This place is for every one, whether you are nature lover or just like to hangout with family or friends. There is enough place to hangout with family and friends all over the park, specially by the river side. While adults can dance and sing, the children can go for a train ride or the lion safari or the boating or just place in the park. The small trek up the Kaneri is the must for young and old, its not as difficult as it seems. Do visit the place and enjoy. The only thing that hurts is the charges if you want to go with your own vehicle.

  • Sanjay Gandhi national park is one of the very few national parks located in the centre one of the biggest metropolis in the world. The park is known for its three lakes and leopards and is a breath of fresh air and peace in the middle of all the dust, traffic and hectic life. Literally. Do visit the place and kindly do not litter. Lets keep this wonder pristine and enjoy it to the maximum. Cheers!

  • Beautiful getaway right in the middle of the city. The amount of greenery one sees is almost unbelievable. Doesn't feel like it's a part of Mumbai. The only drawback is that it's usually super crowded, but that can be ignored because of how huge it is. The caves on the top are also beautiful, and great for History lovers. I suggest you take your bicycles along
