A quaint jungle in the middle of the concrete city. It's true magic lies in the morning walks which are open to pass holders and can be visited before 7 30 AM. There are no vehicles allowed at that time and the place shouts of silence and solitude despite the bustling of people. Nevertheless if you are visiting Bombay only for a couple of days, then make it a point to visit this place by 7 30 in the morning. Try getting your own cycle as this place is safe and perfect for a walk, run or cycling. There is a 12 km road from the gates to the caves. There are cycles provided within the park too, but hardly people get it. Monsoons are the best times to visit this place.
Loved my visit over here. Feels good to be in nature's abode. People can rent bicycles on hourly basis and roam the park and the rent money is refunded back when you return on time. Had visited almost every place in the park. The place looks awesome during monsoon. You can easily spot deers in the park
This place is on western exp highway, nowadays entry fees is around 48rs per person. Good place for exercise and running even cycling we also can do... There is some climb road so you can enjoy that ride also by use of cycle. Most of people come with friends because this place is not safe for single person. Morning time is good to visit here.
It is an excellent place. Being here makes you one with nature. The place is awesome. In morning temperature is 6 degrees less than what it is outside. The tiger and lion safari is also good though you would be lucky if you spot something good. It is nice place to be.
It's good to visit in monsoon. It's best place for cycling and walk and some what picnic with children's. There is kaneri caves at top which is all like old sculptures and architects design rocks. Otherwise there is no such things for animals seeing. Lion and Tiger safari is there but only one loin and 5 to 6 tigers. Good to visit for children picnic and walk
