Sanjay Gandhi National Park, Mumbai Reviews
Sanjay Gandhi national park is one of the very few national parks located in the centre one of the biggest metropolis in the world. The park is known for its three lakes and leopards and is a breath of fresh air and peace in the middle of all the dust, traffic and hectic life. Literally. Do visit the place and kindly do not litter. Lets keep this wonder pristine and enjoy it to the maximum. Cheers!
If you want to see everything at a time it's nearly impossible. The national park is too big for seeing everything in once. You can hire a car for tour if you have come with friends and family with very cheap price. And the caves are so many to give a visit. Please be aware of monkey's there. Overall it's a good place to visit in weekends.
A one stop place where you can find Jungle Safari, Two Thousand Four Hundred years of Buddhist history (Kunheri Caves) and beautiful scenic beauty (Gandhi Memorial - the highest point). If you make it during the monsoons - dancing in the streams and waterfalls are an added attraction. Try and make it early - with a lunch basket and a flask full of aromatic tea or coffee and enjoy your entire day - just chilling around with your family - admiring nature in a less polluted place.
Located upon the hills and mountains, this is a wonderful place with breathtaking views! It has a lot of spots for resting and camping, and has areas for ample areas for trekking lovers. The scenic beauty which one can view atop the valleys are simply surreal! However, make sure to not travel in the rain, as it is very slippery, and might result in an accident. Best time to visit this place is in the springs, early morning. Do carry a mosquito repellent though.
It's a good place. With waterfalls around. Beware of traffic as half of time u will be in traffic. There is a great trek. You can cycle. You can get a local bus there. You can drive till the park. There are caves over there. It's a beauty green place.
