Sanjay Gandhi National Park, Mumbai Reviews
Very near from Borivali station. Entry fee as well as camera fee ( if u want to use then they will charge u around 2000₹). Boating, toy train and tiger safari is very good attractions here. There is a nature information place but u will not get any info here because the employees are just chill. Nice place to visit during monsoon and winter. Good for kids as well as matures. Take ur family for an adventurous trip.
This botanical and zoological park is a nice place for an outing with children. continue ..... The botanical park have rare species of plants and trees. The zoological park houses local variants of animals and reptiles. Enough amusement facilities including toy train, pedal boats etc are provided in the park for children. The park also provides good ambience for elders to meet and chit-chat. The Kanheri caves situated about 5 KM inside the park is an abandoned Buddhist monastery and a place to visit for history enthusiasts. The remnants of the caves is still in good condition and reminds us that the Buddhism was the most followed religion of India once upon a time. There are about eighty plus cottage like spaces carved into the monolithic solid rock which was used for living by the monks and also for learning and teaching Buddhism.
Unexpected greenery in crowds of Mumbai. It is a thick tree forest. Well constructed roads. Food vendors are available. Sweet corn sellers are more. There are beautiful historic caves. A lot of space. Good place for children to visit. Cleanliness is maintained. Parking available. Sharing vehicles are also available to enter inside. Beautiful place. AC tents for camp are also available.

I went from Thane railway station by rickshaw. 50 + rupees Have a Hindu temple beside . Food area with seating arrangement lake view. Food little costly compared to road side stalls. Best time evening time.
A very nice place. Good for any age group. Perfect place for a morning walk. You can cycle out the whole place. A perfect place for cycling. Even go for safaris. Local vendors sell fruits inside. Deer can be spotted moving freely on the roads. There is boating available too. A number of other things like toy train ride, kids park is also available. The villagers inside the park are also helping in nature. There are very good spots for photography too. People can come for picnics too. Altogether a very nice place for every age group.
