Sassoon Dock is recognized as the oldest and most rushing fishing charter which is opened for public. Visit here at dawn to see the view of ancient fishing practice of the people of Koli fisherfolk. You will find that fish like prawn, lobster and shrimp are being unloaded from the fishing boats. The women who are selling the fish wear beautiful jewellery and colourful saris. Both retail and wholesale activity are practised here and hence you have the chance to buy different types of fish at a cheaper rate of price. To exhibit Sassoon Dock as a tourist spot, a makeover was done to the site in 2017.
