The Sassoon Docks is one of the oldest docks in Mumbai, and one of the few docks in the city open to the public. It is situated just off Cuffe Parade in South Mumbai, and is today one of largest fish markets in the city. Its neighboring features are Mumbai Port Trust Garden and Offices of Fisheries Department, and overlooks Oyster Rock, an island in the Mumbai harbour, at a distance.

  • A must visit place especially for sea food lovers. You will get fresh fish in bulk quantity during the auctions.

  • Loved the SASOON ART PROJECT. Lovely community.

  • It's a rather fishy smelly place. Great for fishing activities and bulk purchases but don't visit if you can't stand the odour.

  • Very near to gateway of India, Famous for perchasing fish in bulk quantity, But if you don't love fish then it very difficult to even breath over here due to smell of fish.
