Sassoon Dock - Review
Sassoon Dock is recognized as the oldest and most rushing fishing charter which is opened for public. Visit here at dawn to see the view of ancient fishing practice of the people of Koli fisherfolk. You will find that fish like prawn, lobster and shrimp are being unloaded from the fishing boats. The women who are selling the fish wear beautiful jewellery and colourful saris. Both retail and wholesale activity are practised here and hence you have the chance to buy different types of fish at a cheaper rate of price. To exhibit Sassoon Dock as a tourist spot, a makeover was done to the site in 2017.

One of the famous dock in mumbai.The Sassoon Dock Art Project is an experiential exhibition which will see the creation of site-specific installations, murals, audiovisual experiences, screenings, talks and curated tours in an unconventional space of one of the busiest docks of Mumbai, nestled at the tip of Colaba.
A fish market. It smells bad. But must visit this place once. The fish market starts at 5:30 AM and lasts for nearly 3-4 hrs. With all the colorful boats around, cranes and seagulls flying over the fish stock, this place gives an antique feel of how the koli people used to live and earn.
