St Thomas Cathedral - Review
The Neo-classic and Neo-gothic architecture of the church certainly makes it a pretty sight but what makes it most appealing is that it is a quiet and serene place of worship in the middle of a crazy city.
The simple yet elegant interiors and the gorgeous exterior are sure to delight here. This one isn’t exactly a tourist spot but more of a getaway. Most locals will go here for the peace and tranquillity it has to offer. The lovely historic building is for you if you want to see a part of the history of the city while avoiding the crowds. In all the church offers you the perfect place and environment to have a conversation with Lord here. The mass is very enlightening and you are sure to take back a calm mind and a lot of peace along with you once you are at this church.
You will never find crowd here and the people here are extremely friendly. Do visit as it may offer you the enlightenment you were looking for all this while!

St Thomas Cathedral, Mumbai Reviews
An excellent example of the true grandeur and legacy of the British (the first Anglican Church in Bombay City), this beautiful edifice of Gothic and Victorian architecture stands tall amongst the many surrounding heritage buildings in the busy Fort area of Mumbai and is the proud recipient of the Asia-Pacific Heritage Conservation Award.. Currently undergoing restoration and conservation works as part of its TRICENTENARY CELEBRATIONS (1718-2018), this architectural marvel also houses the "zero milestone" which was the focal point from which Bombay spread out into the city that we see today. The church was opened for divine worship on Christmas Day, 1718, and was dedicated and named after St. Thomas, the Apostle. The church has since undergone several restorations, the last being in 2003.
This Church Has Complated 300 Years. Heritage Walk. People Must Go Here And see The Inside Architecture. Very Beautiful And Peaceful Place In Mumbai Prime Location Fort.
Interestingly, this is commemorated to the Deciple Thomas who came to the India area after Christ ascended back to heaven. This cathederal also hosts multiple memorials to the loss of life of notable Empire and East Company people.
The first Anglican Church in Mumbai, consecrated in 1718. It also happens to the church based on which Mumbai's 'Churchgate' Railway station got its name ! The baptismal font in this church was 'ground zero' or the reference point from which distance used to be measured in miles in the British era.
