Vivanta By Taj, Mumbai Reviews

  • Here for two nights. Simple easy check in process. Room that we took, which had a partial sea view was lovely. Their buffet breakfast is simply divine, huge lavish spread with Continental, South Indian and North Indian options. Their spa though seems to be perpetually booked, was never able to get a slot.

  • My experience there was amazing. The security was pretty tight: metal detectors, car searches, X-ray belt, etc. The breakfast was really good, clean, and had a nice variety for guests to choose from. The room was very clean, and modern. There were rose petals on the floor, which was a nice touch. You receive large bottles of water in the room. The beds are soft and comfortable. It was an overall great experience. Nice hotel, and I would definitely visit again. There was construction going on on the main road, but I wasn’t able to hear it during the day or at night.

  • This is how hotel stays should be. My experience was flawless. The staff here, right from the guy who helps you with the luggage to the security check to the FDM who checked me in to every housekeeping guy you meet. Always have a smile on their face, such warmth. The hotel of course is brilliant, but the heritage look adds significantly to the ambience. They even provide a small kit for lady travelers which I think is rare in the industry and great attention to detail. The hotel felt - 100% safe that purely because how the staff met you and made you feel. Only one small thing, single lady travelers should not be given corner rooms, esp. ones that are too far from the stairs/ lift. This is a feature I haven't seen any hotel consider and could be a great value add. If I do come back to the same part of town, would stay here every time, without a doubt.

  • The restaurants are amazing.. good service. Good food. Good ambience. They also have a good banquet.

  • A nice place for hosting events, dining or staying. The staff is very helpful and the ambience is nice and peaceful, not flashy. Very understated. The metro work going outside at times cause minor inconvenience but once you enter, all is forgiven!
