Nice Bavarian restaurant in the heart of Munich, right next to Viktualienmarkt. The atmosphere is cozy, especially if you are seated in the upper deck. The place is not as crowded as other Bavarian restaurants in the same neighborhood. The food is above average and they care a lot about the quality of their meat (beef especially). Along with the regular one, thay have a weekly menu with some interesting seasonal items. The beer is good, however it has a slight "metallic" taste that goes away over time. The service is nice, waiters and friendly. Prices are high but you pay for the good quality. Recommended for both tourists and locals.
Great late night dinner here one weeknight. Beer was good and the bier-wursts were delicious! Nice atmosphere and staff was friendly and helpful.
For me this is one of the best traditional restaurants in Munich close to Marienplatz. Its high ceiling is keeping the temperature lower as well as the noise too!! Beautiful decoration, vegetarian dishes (!), Good and quick service.
Good food. Good beer. Good service. What else do you need?
Great restaurant! The is great, as are he beverages. The service is very good and atmosphere is German with all the accents. Thank you again for another wonderful dinner. The Boiled Brisket with Horseradish sauce and Beef Goulash was with cooked Red Cabbage wa as delicious.
