In continuation of Ludwigstrasse, there is another boulevard known as Leopoldstrasse. This boulevard was named after the Prince Leopold of Bavaria, son of the late Prince Regent Luitpold of Bavaria. Spanning between the Siegestor (Victory Gate) and the Art Academy in the south to the Munchner Freiheit with the Protestant church 'Erloserkirche' and then further to the north, it makes up for a beautiful stroll for you to take in Munich. There are a number of shops, cinemas, hotels and restaurants that will keep you engaged here.
