The Olympic Stadium in Munich, which was the site of the 1972 Summer Olympics, offers tours over its clearing and transparent shelters of acrylic glass which is the signature mark for the stadium. The light top outline was revolutionary and advanced for the age when it was made and was demonstrated on the Bavarian Alps. One can climb the roof of the stadium with a guide.

You don't have to be a mountain climber to partake in this 2-hour tour which is fastened with ropes and karabiner, the main thing you need are exceptional shoes and a little boldness.

  • The Olympia stadium is one of the highlights in Olympia Park, a key feature in Germany's recent history. It was a memorable experience being here. Next to it there is the Olympia tower, a beautiful pond which has hand impressions of many international celebrities who, perhaps, performed at the stadium, along it's bank. It is about a five minute walk from this place to the BMW Welt & Museum. I would highly recommend visiting the Olympia Park, great place for a family/friends to spend a whole day.

  • This is one of my most fav destinations in Munich, because it organizes a lot of live concert. This time its about Rolling Stones.. here are glimpse of that.

  • Very nice place it takes one day to see everywhere and have some fun. You can also sit near water or have coffee and cake there. Cause it is near BMW exhibition put these in schedule in same day to save time. A lot of fun there also. There is Café inside and you can eat snack there. Some plays that you can have driving test. You have a very nice view of Munich in top of tower. Stadium itself is nice and you can have a walk around it. There is sea life also around and there is exhibition of animal in water. There is one sightseeing bus and you can take it to have a look around whole the park. There is one souvenir shop just down of the tower. Then you can buy a ticket and go up to tower and take a wonderful pictures. All in All I really loved this place in Munich and it is worth going there.

  • Fantastic stadium with a lot of history. Must see! Access for adults is only €3,50

  • A big and iconic stadium which was the host of many historic soccer matches and some big concerts. It was nice to visit and see the stadium 'live' and to walk around there.
