It was just amazing. we could see the sunrise and feel the dawn. I recommend everyone this place as must see spot on earth...
This tea estate was constructed by Britishers and amazing thing about this is that all the equipment's are still running perfectly . This tea plantation are the highest tea growing estates in the world and they used traditional method for making tea leaves. As the tea is grown at higher altitude insect attack is not there .... You see the process of tea making in the tea factory.. Once upon a time many tea workers were working now this is reduced to very low.. earlier they were cultivating tea in 1500 acres and now its only 300 acres due to the lack of workers and low wage , less accessibility and no schools , hospitals.
Unbelievable drive on uneven terrain, the drive itself adventurous. It's around 7000ft above Sea-level. Bit colder late evening. Better be equipped with protective clothing. Sunset or full Moon is the best background for your DP photos.
Judes estate will hopefully become one of the most recognised coffee brands, initially across the North of Ireland and then beyond. Our signature blend was developed in Sydney’s North West after two caffeine heads were introduced by a mutual acquaintance. One a coffee importer and roaster with years of experience ( real Experience the other an owner of a successful Mobile Coffee company destined to return to Ireland, and desperate to bring good coffee and learned skills with him on his return. After months of blending, roasting, cupping, tasting and spitting Judes Estate signature blend was created, others were also developed but Judes Estate signature is the first to be released. Rather than being pompous or arrogant Jarlath Storrie one half of the caffeinated partnership decided not to call his coffee after himself , he wanted to be more original than naming his coffee after a restricted espresso so he decided to name his coffee Judes Estate. Just so happens his little lad is Jude. At present our coffee is roasted on a weekly basis in the UK, roasted on a Monday and in our stores late Thursday. We had hoped to get a local roaster involved but they were unable to source the beans that we required, both variety and quality. It is our intention that we will eventually develop a Roastery and shop complex. If you have a spare 100k please feel free to contact us and we will get it started. Gained with friendships built up over a short period of time we would be drawing on some of the best coffee heads across the UK for help and advise, that we can always offer some of the best most consistent blends and amazing single origin estate coffee. Judes Estate Signature Blend 1 kg £12.00, 6kg £69.00 £4.00 delivery NI £7.50 to the Rest of Ireland.
Amazing place. Views are just breath taking. Ride is a very bumpy as the only way to reach this place on road is through an off-road vehicle. About 8km of bumpy ride later, be ready for some amazing views. The forest dept. charges a fee of 100 rupees per person for nothing there. There is absolutely no development. But then u need to pay to get a better view!! We went early in the morning to catch sunrise.
