Rose Garden, Munnar Reviews
Unlike the name it has many species of plants and flowers . Normally it take 2 hrs to look around everything but if you really love nature u will feel 2 hrs to be less to spend. The entire area is vast and scattered . Entry charges are normal and there are camera charges extra.
You get to see varieties of flowers and roses not only this most of the ayurvedic plants are grown here,so no need to visit any spice gardens in Munnar. There is entry ticket and nice place to take pictures.
This place is homely.. I went there as part of Makemytrip package for homestay dinner experience. It was a nice unique experience just like discovery travel stay programs, where you can stay at some unknown family's home and can prepare food with them too. The family is very friendly and they have their own spice garden too..
Fabulous homestay. All the family help to run this great place to stay. Food, rooms and location are great. Munnar is really worth visiting and the local walks through tea plantations or through the cardamon covered hillside below Rose Gardens are stunning. Wildlife, including wild elephant, giant squirrel, monkeys and loads of interesting birds surround the area. The tour of the gardens is a real treat, never seen the many cooking ingredients actually growing.
Nice B&B. I found it too far from places we wanted to visit. Grounds are lovely. Power goes out but they seem to have a backup generator. Food is good. They use local food from their garden.
