Romea theatre comes with a history of about 150 years opened in the year 1862. Teatro Romea was named after the leading actor Julian Romea. It is a museum with an excellent exhibition on display. Until 1868, Romea Theatre was actually known as ‘Theatro de los Infante’. The building of the theatre is a remarkable specimen of Roman architecture. This well maintained beauty is blessed with great natural actors. As a side note it has a gift shop and a little safe around it. The theatre has a blissful ambience with a perfect combination of red and gold color. All in all Teatro Romea is an entertaining visit for both adults as well as kids.
