Terra Natura Animal Park Reviews & Ratings
Night Safari is amazing! We went to one of the special “Night Safari” evenings and it exceeded our expectations. You need to book it by telephoning the park and reserving your place. They don’t speak much English, so best to get someone to call in Spanish if you can’t speak it yourself. They have around 45 people per evening, split into 3 groups of 15. Each group has their own guide and ours spoke a little English (Laura). You have a bird of prey show which was good, then they walk you through the first part of the park, explaining each part and the animals in it. The first hour is in partial daylight. Then you get a great burger meal with huge salad, a drink and ice cream as it gets dark. Then the fun begins, as you go through each of the areas, past the big cats, the giraffes, the hyenas, through the bird enclosure and on past lots of interesting animals. All in the dark and using your torches.. a very unique experience for kids and adults alike and fantastic fun. Also quite amazing value at only €15 each and one which I will definitely repeat very soon.
Came here for my birthday with my wife and son. We had a lovely time, very well organized and laid out. All the animals very well looked after and clean. Places to eat and drink and not over priced. Parking only 3 euro for the day, bargain. Would defo recommend.
This would genuinely be fantastic if you spoke Spanish or the guide spoke English. As per the other review from Andrew, food was good and overall the experience was good. Just could have been a bit better.
Please note. Minimum slide height is not 1.2m as advertised. It is actually about 6cm more. 10cm even on the bigger slides. Not much to do for the kids that are below the slide height. Still have to pay full price. I think this is why they don't advertise the actual minimum height, as to not put you off buying tickets. It's too late when you get in and realise, which can be very frustrating.
We made the mistake of going to the zoo before hiring a sunbed. When we got there all the beds had gone and no shade to sit in. Other than that a great day out. The zoo was good with a variety of animals and the water park was just enough to keep the 2 teens and pre teen occupied. Overall a great day out in the sun.
