Playhouse in the Park is a renowned community theater where innumerable plays are performed daily that attracts a lot of literature and arts enthusiasts. It was established in the year 1977 and was incorporated as non-profitable organization. Previously the building remained unused and had started to erode but then a group of people came together and put in effort to make this an art theater. Recently, Playhouse in the Park expands its educational facilities, sponsors various theaters groups, takes classes for communal people, visits several schools and also hosts Summer Theater Camp for students.
