Al Alam Palace, Muscat Reviews
The palace has a facade of gold and blue and is off-limits to visitors, one can however get some snaps of the palace from the gate. There are some beautifully maintained gardens in and around the palace. The palace is at the center of a long pedestrian boulevard that lined with prim and proper garden beds and extravagant government buildings on either side.
Official residence. You cannot actually enter the palace, only see it from the outside. It's in a very picturesque location. Best seen as part of a larger itenary. From Ruwi, take the No. 4 bus. This is it's last stop. The bus is best value and it's a picturesque route.
An old palace.. magnificently maintained. Stunning colors... Long Live His Majesty.
This is a guest palace of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Sayyid
Lovely palace of his Majesty of sultanate of Oman, located after Muttrah in old MUSCAT. Tourist can visit the palace from out side of the palace and take some breath taking picture surrounding by the beautiful mountain. There is also bus service available from Ruwi bus stand, which started operation recently by Mwasalat operated by gov body of Oman.
