Bimmah Sinkhole is a stunning crater that holds clear turquoise water. This natural pool of emerald colored water is a favorite amongst tourists. Although the geologists have proved that this 20 m deep cavernous pool was formed due to erosion of the underlying limestone, locals believe that it was formed due to ‘Hawaiyat Najm', that is ‘the falling star’. To ease tourists’ way down to the water, the local municipality has built stairs that take you right to the bottom of the pit. You can swim in the pool or just dip your legs and get a natural fish pedicure. The clear waters of the cavern is what makes it scenic and postcard perfect. You can just sit by and let the tranquility of the place sink in, washing away all your stress. The locals have built a small park that includes palm trees and picnic tables to make your visit to the place more enjoyable.

Bimmah Sinkhole Reviews & Ratings
Decent place though lacking many basic facilities. No shower and changing area. Weekend and holidays attract lot of expatriate crowd, better to be avoided as the water gets really murky
It was a great experience. It's such a beautiful place. Absolutely awesome. This hole somehow connected to Arabic ocean. Best of luck.
A tourist attraction....bathroom facility is there though not quite clean ..park and huts for the family day out...open and free for all....but on long weekends it is crowded and there is only small place to sit near the water..
While on route good to pass by Bimmah Sinkhole. Surrounded by a little park bathrooms and picknick places. It’s amazing the depth of the hole filled with blue and green water. To escape the heat it’s possible to take a swim. But be ready to climb the stairs.
Amazing natural phenomenon. Great for some insta pics! Had a nice swim but we went at the beginning of summer so it was extremely hot. The location is remote so take supplies with you. A nice stop off to break up a longer journey or go for a day trip.
