A little far away, but totally worth the drive is the Dorset Lookout Tower! Situated at close to a 2 hours’ drive from Muskoka, this tower is a great place to watch the plenty colors of fall. Fall color viewing weekends are quite popular here during the month of October. A great attraction and a historical landmark, this tower was built in 1967 at the site of an original fire tower. The tower is 142 meters and has an observation deck at the top. The tower is open between 9 AM and 6 PM.
