Close to the city of Bendigo, one of the famous Buddhist Stupa is being constructed which is known as the Great Stupa of Universal Compassion. The stupa is estimated to have a height of 50 meters and is modeled over the 600 years old Great Stupa of Gyantse. As the construction completes, the Great Stupa of Universal Compassion is said to have the exact exterior qualities as the Great Stupa of Gyantse and will have the ability to last for over 1000 years. Inside the stupa, there will be Jade Buddha for Universal Peace statue, a central temple, library, and teaching rooms.
