Even though this beach would be decent fare at another place, it falls short by the standards of Mykonos. It is sister to the larger and noisier Kalafatis Beach, and slightly dirtier. It looks disorganised. For a small beach it is fairly noisy with Italian music blaring out over the sand from a nearby establishment. That said, the sea is still nice, even though the bottom of the sea becomes rocky as you head out deeper. It’s quite windy too, which is not ideal for sunbathing. There are no hotels on the beach, nor does it really have water-sports amenities. All that said, it’s not actually a bad hangout. You merely have much better options nearby.
