  • Stunning food, wine and service. Comparable to the best Michelin starred places in London in my opinion. It's just wonderful to stumble upon a clearly very talented chef who knows how to create bold, interesting flavours, with smart and attentive service to match. Our waiter recommended the rack of lamb and fillet of croaker and both were fantastic. Tasty comfort food that is leagues above the standard tourist fayre on the main streets.

  • Wowsers! We are lucky enough to of eaten at all the best restaurants in Mykonos in the week we stayed, however Andrea and her staff quite easily took first place, not only was the service fantastic, the food was too and well worth the money. Uncomplicated menu by her husband that obviously knows how to produce brilliant food and flavour combos! 5 stars all the way from Neil and Vicki x Thanks for a lovely evening!

  • Everything was fabulous except the main. It was so disappointing!! The beef cheek was bland and had a weird texture due to the sous vide cooking. It needed more of a sear to crisp up the edges - just thinking about the jelly-like texture now makes me queasy. The smoked veg was also a julienne of carrot and courgette, a tiny bit of broccoli and half a bean. Great service, amazing amuse bouche

  • This place is amazing. The best in mykonos. Hunt it out,it's in the side streets in mykonos town. Great hosts.

  • Our friend found Funky Kitchen through trip advisor reviews. Although not on any of the main footpaths / areas it's a hidden gem that is absolutely worth a 2 to 3 minute detour to find and dine at! So far it's been the best meal we've had in Mykonos by far. Great vibe to the restaurant yet very un assuming from the front if you were to walk past. The staff are very attentive, friendly, more than happy to help as much as possible and kept a great level of service up right the way through. The food is just amazing!. Some 'funky' takes on some classics and common dishes left all three of us well content by the end. Right portion sizes aswell allowed us to enjoy entree, mains and deserts. The winner with this restaurant though is the husband & wife combination who are the owners. The wife runs the front of house, floor and bar & the husband is head chef. One of our friends has food allergies. Most restaurants would simply remove said food which is fair enough, the husband (who is the head chef) came out and offered other solutions at what he could substitute the meal with to help my friend yet still keep the food at a premium level. It was more of a friendly discussion by the end but what a treat and something you rarely experience anymore! The wife did a brilliant job are recommending certain wines which we later found out they source locally from a greek island close to Mykonos where they are solely produced and made for Funky Kitchen. Overall it was just a terrific experience from start to finish. You start of as diners at Funky Kitchen but leave more feeling like friends. They actually get the whole customer experience and a place we would highly recommend and definitely go back to.
